The recommended serving size is 200-300MG kavalactones. Most places capping their “servings” at around 250mg, some 300mg.
Kava is traditionally stacked so some people start low around 100-200 and stack after an hour , it tends to peak at an hour. It has a reverse tolerance so the more you use it the less you need.
Please remember that Kava has a reverse tolerance. This means that if you take more and more to try to get “better” effects, you’re shooting yourself in the foot and will render the botanical ineffective. Kava is one of VERY FEW botanicals in existence that actively encourages you to keep your dosing as low as possible, and punishes you for going beyond.
Many people report needing to consume kava a few times before experiencing its full effects. Do not be discouraged if you do not see immediate results. This never happened to me, but if you research kava you will see it’s a VERY common occurrence with this botanical.
